Born in Iowa and raised across several states, Ken discovered his passion for irrigation as a teenager, maintaining large grounds for Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, NH. What began as a summer job grew into a lifelong career and a family business. In 1992, after his senior year at Purdue University, Ken and his brother Larry founded Barthuly Irrigation, combining their hands-on experience and commitment to quality service. Ken and his wife, Lisa, have three daughters — Emily, Kate, and Lainey — and two golden retrievers — Mackey and Gus.

Brett began his career with Barthuly Irrigation in 1998, starting as an installation foreman before moving into service work. As the company grew, he transitioned into his current role as Operations Manager, where he leads and supports his team through both commercial and residential installations. Outside of work, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and catching a good game whenever he can.

Marita has been part of the Barthuly Irrigation team since 2014, bringing a wealth of leadership and people-focused experience to her role. Before joining Barthuly, she served as an Executive National Vice President with Arbonne International and worked as a Hospice Administrator and Social Worker. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and is passionate about supporting a positive, connected workplace culture. Outside of work, Marita enjoys reading, boating, and practicing Pilates.

Abby joined Barthuly Irrigation in February 2022 — on Valentine’s Day, no less! As Accounts Receivable Manager, she keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes with her attention to detail and organization. Outside of work, Abby enjoys hiking with her two doodles and playing pickleball whenever she can.

Tim handles residential sales for irrigation and lighting at Barthuly Irrigation and is a valued member of the leadership team. He began his irrigation career in 1985 in the golf industry, where he spent 25 years before joining Barthuly. Over the past 15 years, Tim has grown with the company — starting as an irrigation and lighting service technician and becoming Barthuly’s first residential sales representative.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Denise, whom he met at Ball State in 1983. They have two children, Lockne and Lucy, and love attending sporting events and tinkering around in their woods with their dog, Muncie.

With over 25 years in the irrigation industry, Michael has been part of the Barthuly team since 2017. His experience spans service, training, estimating, and project management, now overseeing rework sales, design, and contractor relations.
A true outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys traveling, music, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends. In 2023, he earned scuba certification to service submersible pumps, just another way he dives into his work.

Rick joined the Barthuly Irrigation team in 2021, bringing over a decade of experience in the installation, design, and maintenance of irrigation systems. As a Service Supervisor, his focus is on enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting the continued growth and knowledge of our field technicians.
Originally from Minnesota, Rick discovered his passion for irrigation after relocating to Colorado, where he also worked as a snowboard instructor at Breckenridge Resort. It was there he met his wife while teaching her how to snowboard. Today, they live in central Indiana with their son, where Rick continues to enjoy both family life and the outdoors.

Hannah joined Barthuly Irrigation in 2021 and plays a key role in supporting our residential customers. With more than a decade of experience in customer service from her years at Conner Prairie, she brings exceptional communication skills, organization, and a genuine passion for helping others. Hannah enjoys building relationships with homeowners and ensuring their irrigation systems are cared for from season to season.
When she’s not coordinating service schedules or assisting customers, Hannah loves spending quality time with her family and exploring National Parks—always looking for the next great adventure in nature.

Lucy joined Barthuly Irrigation in January 2024 and plays a key role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service and support. With over 10 years of experience in retail, customer service, and client relationship management, she brings a friendly and solutions-focused approach to every interaction.
When she’s not assisting customers, Lucy enjoys building LEGOs and watching horror movies, a fun mix of creativity and thrill!
